Alive is a modern rock song that explores what it means to feel fully alive. What begins as a noxious relationship evolves into something that awakens and energizes a person’s life. At its core, the song is about the people and experiences that push us out of our comfort zone and help us confront the parts of ourselves that feel uncertain or even frightening. At times, it’s those very experiences that both electrify and terrify us – and ultimately make us feel most alive.

Hi Mama No Likey, thank you for sending your song over! This song is a vibe especially with the melodies as it got me engaged throughout the song making it quite more interesting. However, I'm sorry to say that I find the vocals and hi hats to be a little too sharp sounding which can be a little distracting in the listening experience. This is just my opinion and it is meant to help. Keep it up and have a nice day! :)
Hello Mama No Likey, thanks for sharing your release. I really enjoyed listening to it. The track has a great sense of energy, nice songwritting and lyrics, the guitars sound powerful, and the vocals deliver the emotion of the song really well. It’s a polished production with plenty of drive. For my playlist, though, I’m mainly looking for more dreamy, laid-back indie tracks with a neo-psychedelic feel, warm guitars and a relaxed groove. This release takes a more energetic rock direction, so it doesn’t quite fit the overall sound I’m curating. Thanks again for sending it over. Wishing you all the best with the release, and I hope it finds the right audience. Kind regards, Domas
Hi! Thanks for the submission! I really like the track's energetic, no-nonsense sound and its lyrics but for my playlists I prefer a more slow-paced, bluesy songs. Keep it up!

Hi Mama No Likey, really loving the intensity of the track, and I think the vibe/energy would work really well in my playlist selection. I'll be adding this for sure, keep it up!
Hi, I think the guitar work sounds really cool here and the drums definitely have enough punch too. Furthermore, I think the vocals are good. However, the lyrics could have been just a bit more distinctive in my opinion. Just like the structure of the chorus. It lacks some additional quirkiness. Try to work on this next time. For now, unfortunately, I'm declining. There's definitely potential, though, so I believe in you guys. Good luck with everything and enjoy your week!
Hey there! We enjoy the production and awesome voice rhythm along guitars in your song. However the overall pace feels somewhat slow for us personally, which doesn't fit well among other faster and upbeat/engaging old-school rock songs that we usually feature in our 'rock legends' playlist to be honest 🙏
Thanks for your submission. I can appreciate the raw and nice energy this track has, and the vocal is great. The mix is nicely balanced as well. For me, I feel this is a little too conventional and rock sounding for my playlists. I'm after something a little more alternative sounding. Thanks and good luck with the release.
Hey guys, thank you very much for sharing your music with us! "Alive" features nice melodies and great production, your work is polished and well-crafted. Cool rock song overall. However, the sound, vibe, energy, and specific sub-genre aren’t quite what we feature on our playlists. This is not about the quality, which is high, but rather the stylisic fit. Thanks for sharing your music, and keep up the great work!
Hi there and thank you for sharing your music! I like the energy in the instrumental, those drums sound great, good work on the production! I like how you drop the vocals early on, this is good for audience retention I believe. I am not totally sure about the vocals themself though. I like the lyrics but I am not a big fan of that filter on there. A bit too much as I prefer the vocals as natural as possible. All the best, R
I liked where this was headed, but I kept getting pulled out of the song by the vocal delivery. It didn't quite click with me the way I was hoping, so I had a harder time connecting with the track overall. I'll have to leave this one out, but thanks for sharing it.
I liked the development of the track, the style of mix and how the vocal track was highlighted throughout. However, the overall structure and feel were a bit heavy for my current selection that's a bit more relaxed and pulled back. Unfortunately, for these reasons, I'll have to decline for now. Thank you for sharing your art. Wishing you all the best with this release and your musical journey.
The track's mix was so clean, and your vocal performance was undeniably solid here. The arrangement does a great job of reinforcing the song's momentum as well. That aside, the track's overall direction tends to go the rock route, which is a bit outside my curatorial focus at the moment.
The track, from start to finish, has a good mix, arrangement, and vocal performance. It's just that it didn't match the slow paced energy of my Daydreaming Indie Playlist, so I'll be letting go of the song for now.
Hi Mama No Likey! The energetic beats and inspiring melodies sounded truly captivating. I’m sorry to decline as I’m not connecting with the thin guitar mix. I’m actually looking for a well balanced guitar mix that have clarity and depth. Wishing you all the best!

howdy! this has a cool air, a very interesting world you've created on this. but l'm just not really feeling the Iyrics. definitely not bad! just not my kinda thing! cheers
Bom trabalho!
Hey there! First of all: I like how alive it sounds. Raw, garage delivery. Really hi-energy: the chorus made it impossible to stay still. Your delivery ignites the fire in me. Unfortunately, the vocal performance did not resonate enough with me. I'm really sorry. Your music is a wonderful piece of art - thank you for the submission!
Hi, Mama No Likey! Thanks for sharing. From the very first seconds, your track sounds like a real banger for radio rotation. The catchy vocals and groovy guitar line create an energetic vibe. The chorus is catchy and emotional. The slight hoarseness in the singer’s voice adds a special charm to the performance. Your song has potential, but I think it’s a little too pop for my taste. I hope you understand. Best wishes!
Impressive tone on the guitars in this track! But I feel that the arrangement was a little too classic rock sounding for the more indie and country sound of my curation. Sorry but I must pass on this submission.
Hey there, MNL - thanks for the submission. Your track has a full, punchy sound. I liked the tone of the guitar and the energy is great. The vocal suits the track and it has a real classic rock feel to it. For me, the melody never really took off or did enough that was unique or surprising to me. The band sound tight, but I found it a little too predictable and familiar. I look for darker, edgier tracks with more memorable melodies or sound choices. So, I’m going to pass on this one I’m afraid. Good luck with it.
Hi, A confident vocal and good sounding groove in this one. Really well-made production. This song is however too upbeat and feels too energetic for the slow and mellow guitar vibe I am going for. Especially distorted guitars don't fit in my playlist mood. Wish you all the best with your release! Cheers, Jens
Apologies for declining this track at the moment. The vocal performance was undeniably solid but the arrangement has more of an indie rock vibe, which has more of a different listening experience than what my account focuses on.
Hey Mama No Likey, thanks for sending your track our way. While we appreciate the track's vocal delivery, we felt the main riff wasn't as exciting. We will sadly have to pass on. Keep making more music.

Hey there, thank you for sharing your song! I think that the song was really well produced, the instrumental sounded really interesting for me, well done with the feel that you have created, it was pretty interesting in my opinion. I think that you have managed to create a well put together groove, really nice job with the feel that you have went for. I've really liked the electric guitar parts, the song sounded really powerfull in my opinion, but for me personally it was just not as catchy. Unfortunately I have to decline your submission this time, I was hoping for a bit more catchier groove, I'm sorry. Good luck with your submission!
Great energy and great grits into the vocals love the power and the guitar and also the groove. still for my lists and taste I miss a bit more dynamic variety because I fear that the band the drums play through and play two similarly regarding energy and dynamics. still Great lyrics and storytelling I also really like the vocal attitude but also what I miss here is more variety in register also the vocal sound is a bit pressed to my ears. still great energy. best wishes - Dominik
I loved the writing! You have an incredible sound. The vocals are amazing! I just felt that the overall mix was a little too bright and gritty for my taste. I prefer more subtlety and depth in that area. I totally respect what you were going for though. All the best! :)
Hola. Saludos cordiales.

Your song delivers a strong rock identity, driven by great energy, a well-crafted production, and a performance that reflects real dedication and artistic commitment. It's clear that you have talent and plenty of potential as an artist. However, due to the high number of submissions I'm reviewing, my curation process is extremely selective, and I'm currently prioritizing songs that bring a more distinctive melodic direction and a stronger sense of originality. For that reason, I've decided not to include your track in my playlist on this occasion.
