“Libertad” es el nuevo Latin House track de DJ Whit Allen featuring Nico Martinez en vocals y Mario Moreno en congas, producido por Drew Dugan en DVLP Music Studios con el músico Connor St. Augustine. It explores a paradox: real freedom comes not from avoiding committed relationships, but from allowing deep intimacy with another person to reveal what we cannot see alone. The person standing before us is not the chain holding us back. They are the mirror revealing the fear, attachment or need for control we already carry within us. I wrote it in Spanish because "libertad" felt more alive and embodied than “freedom” — more like something we actively claim for ourselves.

Hello! We appreciate your smooth voice sync along with drums and instruments. However your track feels a bit uplifting and light, which doesn't fit quite nice among other stronger and engaging afro latin tracks kinda in style of mestiza or aaron sevilla that we prefer in our 'afro house thailand' or 'extrema outdoor' playlists to be honest 🙏
The instrumentation and overall sound quality are both strong, with a well-produced and carefully crafted presentation. However, the vocal performance doesn’t quite meet the level I’m currently looking for in my playlist, so I’ve decided to pass on this one.
Hey, this song has good vocals from Nico Martinez and the intro starts off cool. Additionally, elements like the sax and beat work really well. However, the chorus isn't quite dynamic enough in my opinion. Furthermore, I don't find the overall progression distinctive enough. For these reasons, I unfortunately have to decline. I do hear a lot of potential, though, so keep up the good work. I believe in the music you make. All the best. Enjoy your week :)

Thanks for sharing your track. The track feels well polished.Production is meticulous. The percussion and instrumentation is amazing. The vocal processing and performance are good as well. However, the track doesnt fit the current direction of our playlists, which are mostly Electronic music oriented. Thanks again for sharing your track. We would love to hear more from you.Wishing you all the best for your future endaevours.
Hey thanks for sharing with me! Loving the production, really enjoyed the percussions with the trumpet. Vocals are great too, but sadly I'm looking for a more urban sound like Tyla to dance in the clubs. Sorry and I wish you all the best!
What gives the track most of its direction for me is the voice. It clearly takes the leading role and carries a strong narrative presence from the beginning, which gives the song a lot of potential. At the same time, that constant presence can also work against it. In some of the higher sections, the delivery starts to feel a little less controlled, and because the vocals remain very forward throughout the track, they gradually lose some of the impact they have at the start. I think creating more contrast in the vocal arrangement could help a lot here. Pulling the voice back slightly in certain sections, simplifying some of the higher phrases, or giving the instrumental more room before the strongest vocal moments could make those peaks feel much more powerful when they arrive. That would also help the vocals and the production share the space more naturally instead of having the voice carry the same intensity all the way through. We won’t be able to approve the track for our playlist this time because I feel the vocal balance still could use a little more control and variation to preserve the strength of the performance throughout the song. I’d focus on letting the voice breathe more between key moments so its presence feels intentional rather than constant. Wishing you the best with the release and everything ahead.
A huge thanks for taking the time to share your music with us, it’s greatly appreciated! The production elements sit really nicely together but we prioritize hybrid arrangements that incorporate both electronic and organic elements. Hope this one resonates and leads to more great work!
Hello there and thank you for sharing your music! Nice and clean production, good work on the soundtrack, I like the trumpet in there. The rhythm and groove is nice but I am not sure about the vocals. Too many vocal effects on there for me personally to be a good match. This is just my personal taste and opinion of course.. All the best, R

Hey, I liked the percussion groove in this one. Th emix was quite crowded and elements fighting for attention. Some EQ and panning to give element their space in the frequency spectrum, could help. This song is also way too vocal focused for my lists. Wish you all the best with your release! Cheers, Jens
