I like the groove you’ve got going here, but I’m waiting for that proper *head nod* to kick in 😭 It feels a little too far from the dusty, drum-first pocket I’m after for boom bap. Giving the drums more swing, grit, and personality could pull it into that lane a lot more. Keep digging for that pocket!

Hey, thanks for the submission! Really cool tune and quite a difficult decision. I loved the flow, the chorus/singing was nice, too but a little sweet for us. The instrumental felt a bit too exeperimental/chaotic/hectic at times and wasn't a big fan of the synths, esp at times, tbh. But definitely keen to hear more from you. Best!

Hi Mindmessage, If I'm honest, I think the bars are really good, and the singing here is top-notch. Overall, I would even say the entire track has a very high production value. However, at the end of the day, the song is definitely too melodic for any of my hip-hop playlists, and has too much hip-hop inspiration for any of my melodic playlists. I'd like to hear one overall vocal style, without combining them, for a closer consideration for placement with us on your next submission

There’s a clear identity in this track, and I really like the way the trance influence gives it an aggressive yet hypnotic character. That energy gives the song weight and helps establish a strong atmosphere from the beginning. At the same time, even though the overall style stays consistent, the track moves through several variations without always giving the listener a clear sense of direction. Some sections feel interesting on their own, but the structure doesn’t always make it obvious which moments are meant to be the main peaks, transitions, or points of release. For a new listener, that can make the arrangement feel a little less defined than the sound itself. I think it could help to organize the energy more deliberately across the track: establish a stronger main section, use the surrounding parts to build tension toward it, and let certain melodic or rhythmic elements return as reference points. That could make the important moments easier to recognize while preserving the hypnotic quality that already works well here. The structure, not feeling fully defined yet, is what kept me from connecting enough with the track to approve it for the playlist this time. Still, this is only my perspective, and I think there’s a strong sonic base here to keep developing. Hey there! I will be declining your track because I find the track to be a bit too muddy and unclear for my liking. Could use more fullness as well from the vocals and maybe having your keys to be a little quieter so that your vocals are clearer. Sorry for declining.

The song has a good foundation, but the final presentation feels like it needs a more considered mastering pass, and the groove isn’t quite locking in for me yet. I’d tighten the rhythmic pocket first, then revisit the overall balance and polish so everything hits with more cohesion. There’s something to build on here though, hope you send me another version soon!

The instruments chosen for the beat are dope, however the lyrics in the rap performance is not my favourite personally, therefor I am going to give this track a no.. I hope you don't take it personal because it clearly is a quality production and I am sure you will find success.

Great hip hop lyrical flow but the chord progression sounds a bit too jazzy to my ears and lists. What I also miss is more dynamics and variation in the vocal register. Still cool flow. I love the tender and light vocal tone in the chorus parts as well, still I miss some more singing in the verses as well. I like also how laid back you stay on the beat. Please keep creating good and meaningful art. Best wishes

Hola. La canción tiene una introducción lenta, con sonidos algo psicodélicos y algo de percusión y con una vocalización temprana con estilo de rap y música urbana. Sonidos distintos y aislados desde el fondo llegan con diferencia de tiempo y las voces corales hacen que su profundidad aumente. Termina de forma algo intempestiva. Por el momento no será incorporada a pesar de su producción inteligente por estar buscando melodías algo más envolventes para la playlist, pero reconocemos su originalidad. Fuerte abrazo!

Thanks for sending this my way. I’m being more selective about the overall atmosphere because the playlist has developed a fairly specific sound. This one has a different kind of energy from most of the current selection, and I didn’t want to add something that would interrupt the flow.

The vocals drop in at 9 seconds which I like, this is good for audience retention I believe. The pass of the song is a bit too slow for me to be a good match though.
