Hey there, Anka - thanks for the submission. Your track has a really atmospheric, dramatic vibe. It almost feels like a musical or film soundtrack. I liked the simple arrangement and the mix is solid. I thought the vocal had a warm tone and plenty of character. For me, the song itself is good, but never quite took off fully. I was waiting for the killer hook or moment, but it never arrived. The song stays on one level, so ends up feeling slightly repetitive by the end. Overall, a sultry, soulful track, but it didn't do enough that made me want to listen again and again, so I'm going to pass on this one I'm afraid. This is all just my opinion of course. I wish you well with it.

I liked the overall idea and there are some strong elements in the track, especially the delivery. However, the tonal balance feels a little uneven, with some parts standing out more than they should. Because of that, it doesn’t quite fit the sound I’m looking for on my playlist right now.

I’m sorry if this sounds a bit too harsh but I’ll decline because I feel that the vocals felt a bit slightly too sibilant to me. I’m focusing more on vocal tracks that have balanced warmth and tamed harsh high-end. Best wishes!

Hi again Anka Mason, It's always tough to decline a song with great vocals such as these, and I think you have very powerful ones. Still, I think the piano sound design with the pretty slow tempo gives this track more of a acoustic pop feel, that doesn't really match my soulful preferences. And for a Pop submission it is also quite slow. I'd love to hear a lot more blues inspired harmonies and instrumentation to accompany a tempo and vocals like these, for another great match with us next time around

Hi there Anka. Hearing a great performance on this track. Love the vocal and character. This does have a very slight soul feel in progression and vocal performance, but the mood on the arrangement is just much too somber for the more sultry leaning mood of my soul playlist. It will stand out too much in mood so I'll pass for now

There’s definitely a distinct character in the way you approach the vocals, and I can tell you’re making an intentional choice with the delivery.
