The concept is interesting, but the track feels more focused on spoken word than the style I’m looking for. The delivery feels too conversational, while the tonal balance and transitions could also use more refinement. I’m going to pass on this one.

Hi! Thanks for the submission! I really like the track's laid-back, chill atmosphere and feel but for my playlists I focus on a more traditional blues / jazz or more upbeat funk and soul with fewer electronic elements. Keep it up!

There’s a lot of precision in the production here, and I can tell you’ve put plenty of thought into making everything line up nicely :) For my playlist, though, it feels a little too polished and controlled, like some of the natural movement has been ironed out. Letting the performance breathe more and keeping a few rougher human details could give it a warmer, more personal feel. Keep chasing that balance, I think a little more looseness could really bring this to life <3

Ooh, there’s a lovely warmth to the track, but the vintage character feels a little stronger than what I’m curating at the moment. I’d love to hear that same charm paired with a fresher, slightly more current feel. The overall character is still really nice, and I hope another one finds its way to me.

The beat and groovy bass give the track a smooth flow, while the spoken elements sit nicely within the lush, spacious production and add to its hazy character. For my downtempo playlist, I’m looking for a brighter and more organic sound, with stronger melodic themes, electronic textures and more movement as the arrangement develops, like Bonobo or Tycho. This one stays in a deeper, more atmospheric space, so it doesn’t quite match the direction of my selection. Lovely production nonetheless, and wishing you all the best with the track! Hey Tony. Love the atmosphere on this track. Great progression and instrumentation that really presents an introspective space. The instrumentation feels like it already fits my focus beats playlist, but unfortunately, this track's spoken word vocal just makes the track stand out too much on that playlist with tracks that are completely instrumental. I'll decline for now because of this difference in arrangement

The choice of sounds within the beat is interesting and helps build a distinct identity, which gives the overall concept a lot of personality. As the track develops, though, I feel the structure loses some cohesion. Certain elements create contrast, but they don’t always connect strongly enough to make those changes feel like part of the same narrative. Because of that, some sections can feel a little distant from one another, and the overall progression becomes less clear. I think it could help to define a few stronger reference points for the listener. Keeping a recognizable melody, texture, or rhythmic pattern present across different sections, even if it evolves, it could make the contrasts feel more connected. It could also help to establish a clearer peak or key moment so the track has something more identifiable for the listener to hold onto. I’m leaving the song out of the playlist this time because I was missing a more cohesive structure and a few clearer elements that could guide the listener through the track. The concept has personality, though, and I think organizing those ideas more clearly could give the song a lot more impact. I appreciate the full tone the rhythm section gave the track. I also liked the main musical theme. However, as I listened, I was hoping for it to be a bit brighter and to have a bit more development in phrasing and dynamics. That said, I'll have to pass for now. Hey what's up, thanks for the song and good job on the new release! The beat is quite good, It is well produced and I was vibing with it, the bars/lyrics however are not really vibing with me personally if I may be honest, so in conclusion, I have to decline this one.. I want to keep the playlist in top condition, so I am very selective, maybe a bit too judgemental at times, but it all comes from good intentions so that artist on the playlist actually get good results. However your track feels a bit thoughtful and somewhat chill for us personally, which doesn't fit quite nice among other tracks with slightly upbeat approach and more rich rapping presence that we prefer in our 'melodic hip hop & rnb' playlist, sorry. And we usually place completely instrumental lofi beats in our 'trading lofi mix' playlist 🙏
