Hey there, thank you very much for sharing your new music with us! Cool old-school indie rock track in general. The melodies are engaging. However, we think the song would benefit from better mixing and mastering. The current mix sounds a little unbalanced and unpolished, which keeps it from reaching its full potential. The whole mix sounds very overcompressed, the ballance between the mids, highs and low frequencies need to be fixed. Keep refining your art, we’re excited to hear more from you in the future! Best of luck!
Hi Jangle Wave, It's so easy to acknowledge that this is a fun track, I mean everything from the wailing guitars to the smooth, sort of Michael Bublé tinged pop vocals, all of it feels lovely. The first thing that I noticed, though, was that right from the beginning, your guitars sounded like MIDI instruments. It definitely gives the song more of an unfinished electro pop or electro rock feel, and to me, I was looking for a more professional polish on that instrument. That sound design lasts for the entire song, and just really sounds like a production pack that you downloaded and popped into your DAW. I would like to hear more of a professional polish on your future instruments, for future songs of yours to be a more perfect match with us next time around
Hey there! We appreciate your voice sync along with guitars and drums. However your song feels a bit light and uplifting for us personally and the overall tempo is a bit slow for our taste, which doesn't fit quite nice among other faster and stronger engaging rock songs with slightly introspective/deeper tones (especially in terms of singing) that we prefer in our 'rock legends' playlist. And we usually place much softer dreamy introspective songs in our "electronic rock/indie" one, where your song isn't quite a great match for this time, sorry 🙏
Thanks for your submission. I can appreciate those epic guitar licks. Vocal sounds nice and has some nice melodies in there as well. I also like those chord changes in the bridge. In saying that, this track is too mainstream sounding for my playlist. I'm after something more alternative and risky with the song writing and production. I'm also not quite connecting with the mix of the electronic drums. Just a personal taste and opinion. Thanks and good luck with the release.
Hi, A confident vocal and good sounding groove in this one. Really well-made production. This song is however too upbeat and feels too energetic for the slow and mellow guitar vibe I am going for. Especially distorted guitars don't fit my playlist mood. Hope you will find the right playlists for this one! Cheers, Jens
Greetings and thank you for sharing your music! Good work on the production, the instrumental sounds nice and clean, vibrant. You deliver the vocals early on which I like but I do miss a bit more raw rock power in there. This is a bit too soft. All the best, R
Hey there, thank you for sharing your song with me! I think that the tune had a reaooy interesting mood, well done with the feel that you have created, the electric guitar sounded really cool in my opinion. I think that the song had a really cool mood, well done with the feel that you have came up with, it sounded really interesting. The drum beat was not my favorite however it sounded really unnatural in my opinion, unfortunately the song was just not as as memorable this time, I'm really sorry. You have a nice voice but that sounded a bit unnatural also in my opinion. I have to decline your submission this time, I'm really sorry. Good luck with your submission!
Bom trabalho!
Hey Jangle, thank you for sending “This Love is a Fire” our way! Loved the motifs but we feel the track is a bit slow. We'll sadly have to skip this one. Keep making music, we hope to hear more from you soon! :)
Ooh, I really like the groove here, it has an easy rhythm that makes the track enjoyable to sit with. It’s just not quite the right match for the direction I’m curating at the moment. Still, the groove is definitely one of the stronger parts, so I’d love to hear what you come up with next.
I really enjoyed the moody rock atmosphere of this track; the vocals are particularly strong, and those warm guitars create a lovely mellow feel. However, I found the song a little too predictable for my current curation needs. I'm actively searching for something with a more distinctive edge to add to my playlist. I wish you the best with your music, and perhaps another track will be a perfect fit in the future!
Hi Jangle Wave! Thanks for trusting me with your lovely track. The chorus section were so catchy and I like the feel good vibe in this arrangement. I’m quite sorry for declining as I noticed the drum mix sounded a bit thin and bright while the bass were a bit muddy for me. I’m actually looking for instrumental tracks where the bass have a well balanced low end depth and the drums that have a punchier kick and snare that have a deeper low end. Wishing you all the best!
