love your originality, vocals sound super edgy and radio friendly. the song is a vibe but for the most part it's just too hard hitting for it to fit even my most upbeat of playlist, i'm sorry
Thanks for your submission. I like the Celtic sounding introduction. The vocal sounds nice here with some great lyrics, and I like the nice ambient reverb on the vocals. I do like the cool blend of heavy guitars and flute moments. Once the track starts building though, as much as I like the intensity and appreciate the quality production, it does get too intense and epic sounding for my playlist. My playlists tend to be a bit more groovier and often soul or easy listening focused. This is just a little bit too intense. Thanks and good luck with the release.
This track has a really cool rock vibe, and I was drawn in by the mood and the song's concept. However, after careful consideration, the overall mix doesn't quite align with the quality I'm looking for in my curation. I'll have to decline for now, but I truly appreciate you sharing it with me. I wish you all the best with your release!
Hey there, thank you very much for sharing "Floki's Odyssey" with us! The track has a great foundation for a good folk metal song, great melodies. However, we think the song would benefit from better mixing and mastering. The current mix sounds very overcompressed, ai-ish and lacks certain oranig warmth and depth... Keep refining your art, we’re excited to hear more from you in the future! Best of luck!
Hey Echovayn, For a rock sub, I'm looking for a classic rock approach on the drums and guitars, as well as the vocals. And while you had the guitars and drums that make for a great rock song, I think I simply just struggled to get into the vocals as they felt a little too operatic-metal inspired. They also seem to have a bit too much processing on them, whereas I prefer and clean, classic rock vocals. On future subs, consider sticking to a raw, unprocessed, and more classic hard rock approach on the vocals to be a better fit with us!
Hi, a strong production where all elements work together well. The distorted guitars are however too heavy for the more mellow vibe I am after for my slow guitar/indie playlists. Also felt that the vocal were quite noisy and harsh in the high end and need de-essing. Wish you all the best with your release! Cheers, Jens
Won't be able to accept your submission for now as I think this came off a bit too stiff in terms of vocal performance, and I think this was over-processed for my taste. Still, thank you for sharing this one with me. I wish you the best
Hey Echovayn, I really liked the epicness of the song and found the arrangement captivating but I'm afraid the audio quality sounded too harsh and sharp for my liking. I'm sorry to turn down your submission because of this but the production quality didn't meet my standards.
Hey there! Unfortunately, your tune sounds too plastic and artificial to me. Especially the vocals. Sorry, but that's not for me. Thank you for the submission!
Hi there! We like that male voice rhythm along with epic instruments in your song. However the overall sound feels a bit too epic for our taste, and the addition of flute/folk kinda instruments doesn't fit quite nice among other more upbeat and engaging rock songs in kinda old-school rock oriented style that we prefer in our 'rock legends' playlist to be honest, sorry 🙏
Hola. Saludos cordiales!
Hello! I will be declining your track because the quality of your mix sounds a bit too fuzzy and muffled to me right now. I love the production though and the arrangement. The sound of the music sounds incredibly epic, it kind of gave me video game feels for awhile. But, due to the mix, I won't be able to accept this. Sorry!
