Hey, thanks for submitting! This was very interesting but also a little too dark, trippy and experimental for our curation. Also, I wouldn't tag it as lo-fi (which is a very chill/breezy genre usually). Hope this helps!
I really enjoyed the atmosphere you created in this track. It's clear you put a lot into it, and I appreciate you sending it my way. For my playlist, I generally look for submissions that explore a bit more in terms of complexity and dynamic shifts. This is a solid piece, just not quite aligned with the specific vibe I'm cultivating. I'm looking forward to hearing what you come up with next!
Hi Nick Stipanitz! Thank you for sharing this track. The ambiance felt very cinematic, and the vocal layers with the spoken word gave it a beautiful white noise effect. I’m so sorry for declining this track but the experimental feel in the arrangement didn’t meet my standards. I’m looking for more subtle ambience alongside a memorable and soothing melody, and gentle groove. Wishing you all the best!
Hi there! I like the quality and clarity of the instruments in the mix. But I will have to pass for now as the arrangement sounds a tad too dark for the lighter and more relaxed sound of my playlist. Sorry!
Apologies, but I think this came up a bit too sci-fi-leaning, which doesn't sit well with any of my playlists currently. Still, I love the composition that you had on this one. Maybe this could fit on another playlist that's leaning towards ambient music. Still wishing you the best
Hey Nick, thanks for sending this over. I like the hypnotic, cinematic atmosphere you’ve created here, with a steady beat and deep electronic textures that give the track a nice sense of immersion. However, for my electronica playlist, I’m looking for brighter, more dynamic and melody-driven tracks with organic elements. This one feels too deep and atmospheric for that direction, so I’ll have to pass this time. Wishing you all the best with the release! Cheers, Domas
Hi there! We appreciate your hard work on the production and careful instrumental arrangement in your track. However the overall sound of drums feels a bit energetic and somewhat strong for our personal taste, and overall vibe feels a bit moody and too deep (thoughtful) for us. This doesn't fit quite nice among other much softer and lighter lofi beats (without any vocals throughout) that we usually feature in our 'trading lofi mix' playlist. And your track doesn't fit quite nice among other tracks more in style of moderat that we prefer in our "deep & melodic electronic" playlist. Plus your track doesn't fit well among other light and dreamy songs kinda in style of tame impala that we prefer in our "electronic rock/indie" one, sorry 🙏
Ooh, this has a pretty unusual vibe, but some of the darker elements lean a little too creepy for my taste. I think softening a few of those sounds could keep the mysterious feel without making the whole track quite so unsettling. Definitely an interesting direction to experiment with!
Hey Nick Stipanitz, Wow, what an interesting song! Well produced and everything. Now, while I can appreciate your musicality here, for any instrumental submission I would be looking for a very light amount of movement in the groove and instruments. This track has a bit too much tempo, heavy drums, and movement in the chords and "melody" to be a perfect, ambient fit. On future instrumental submissions, sending me a song where the grooves slow or even nonexistent, and the instrumentation ethereal, to be a stronger fit with us! For the music - VH
Thanks for your submission. I appreciate the interesting production. It certainly has a unique edge. I like some of those reversing sounds. In saying that, this is too dark and experimental for my playlists. Thanks and good luck with the release.
the track def has many interesting sound elements throughout, i like the darker aspects of it. appreciate the stylistic approach but the song doesn't have enough mainstream appeal for my playlist unfortunately
There’s a lot of imagination behind this one, and I appreciate that you’re not afraid to take the music somewhere unusual :) The darker atmosphere mixed with the more experimental choices makes it a little too intense and unpredictable for the vibe I’m building in my playlist right now. Bringing in some lighter melodic touches and giving the arrangement a clearer direction could make those creative ideas easier to connect with. Keep exploring those left-field sounds, just remember that even the strangest ideas can shine with the right balance <3
hey there, thanks for this nice submision. Quality production with a great sound design. But it's just too deep & industrial & experimental compared to all the other music I feature. Great for personal listening, will add this to a private personal playlist. But I can't help with a public playlist, sorry! Good luck with the release!
Hello Nick Stipazin tha k you for reaching out. Interesting approach in this articulates track and arrangement. Nice textures especially. I find it unfortunately a bit too dark and a bit too complex with too many variations for my playlists that are More focused on Melodic House tunes. I also search for stronger melodies em leads. Just my curatoatorial approach here. I wish you a the best with this track Simone
Thanks for your submission, Nick. I enjoy the reverse guitar and the spoken word included in this introspective and experimental ambient production. However, I'm not interested in such mood for my more mellow ambient playlist. Just my personal opinion.
Cool song. I really like the dark vibe. I really like the mystical vibe and also the lyrics and the dark drums and the harp-like string tones. But the vocals sound a little bit too dry and direct and also spoken in the mix to my ears and lists. What I prefer is singing instead of speaking. What I also miss is a bit bigger dynamic variety in the track. And the electric guitar in the end or towards the last part of the song also adds to kind of a confusion and distortion of the song. So it's a bit too harsh and cold for me. Still, I think it's super creative ideas in here. It just doesn't fit well into my playlist. Sending best wishes your way. Please keep creating. Best wishes, Dominik.
Hi there and thank you for sharing your song! Good work on the production, pretty clean sound! I am sure there is an audience for this, but I personally like a bit more of a story line and structure. There is a lot going on which can be good for certain audiences but I personally prefer a bit more of a build up with natural vocals and not too many special effects on there. This is just my personal taste of course. All the best, R
Hi, thanks for letting me listen to your track! I enjoy the relaxed atmosphere and the unusual sounds used in the arrangement. For my taste, the piece stayed a little too similar in texture from beginning to end, and I was looking for a subtle change in tone or layering to make the listening experience more engaging. Wishing you all the best with your future releases!
