I’m just struggling to focus on the vocals as the guitars and drums seem to overpower the vocal mix. So I will decline this for now. Hi there Kirp. Hearing a nice production style on this, leaning post rock. Overall the track is cohesive in style, however, I'm feeling that the mix of this track is a bit unbalanced in terms of dynamics and levels. The vocals are much too drowned as I barely understood any of the lyrics. If you notice the transition after the first verse, the volume jump to the next section is just too jarring. The difference from the low volume sections to the louder chorus is just too wide. The production style is already great, but a revisit with the mix could make this arrangement shine a bit more so I'll pass for now

However your song feels a bit nostalgic and sad/thoughtful for our personal taste, which doesn't fit our 'rock legends' playlist, where we usually place more upbeat and faster engaging rock songs with more presence of singing throughout. And your song doesn't fit quite nice among other dreamy songs with a bit lighter approach, influence from some electronic elements and also more presence of rich singing throughout all the song that we prefer in our "electronic rock/indie" one 🙏

Hey Kirp, You know, for shoegaze-ish music, I actually really enjoyed this. Your melodic theme is very memorable, and the sort of Lofi and distorted guitars really set the mood. It's kind of nostalgia in a way that I can't put my finger on, which is exactly the kind of music that I think gets stuck in people's heads. Now, while I can definitely appreciate your guitar sound design and chord progressions, I would have hoped for a faster tempo on the drums and rhythm section overall. This one here is too laid back for what I'm looking for, which is indeed a "roadtrip", more uptempo feel. I'm also looking for classic rock, which this track sort of grazes. On future rock subs, consider sending me any other tracks that are up-tempo and lean more heavily toward classic hard rock, to be a better fit with us! For the music -VH

Hello Kirp, Thanks for sending this track. I’m captivated by the trippy feel in the guitar melodies. Unfortunately, I’ll have to decline this submission for now as the drum fill sounded a little muddy around 1:14 and the drum mix around the 1:17 mark felt too overpowering and bright. I prefer tracks that have smoother drum fills and a better balanced level and depth in the drum mix. Best wishes!

I found this to be a cool rock track with a compelling mood, and the song’s concept truly grabbed my attention. However, it doesn't quite align with the quality standards I maintain for my playlist. love that you retained the rawness of the instrumental lines, the song drips a ton of hazy summery vibes. it's a clever track really but it just isn't the best fit for my way more commercial leaning curation, i'm sorry

the instrumental tracks are def tight and the vibe of the track is there for sure, however to better fit my playlist i would've liked for the song to have way more mainstream appeal to it

Hola. La canción tiene una larga introducción con punteos de guitarra y una batería tenue y con semitonos que van indicando el estilo de la misma. Una voz baja y suave viene desde el fondo, la monotonía de la misma parece una opción intencionada para dar un vuelco interesante de intensidad con los golpes de batería. La pieza instrumental del inicio se repite bastante luego de silenciada la voz y por momentos puede sonar parecido algunos pasajes de algunos temas de Depeche mode. Entendemos al tema como una producción interesante en el amalgama de sonidos y vocalización no obstante buscamos melodías un poco más envolvente y ásperas para nuestra price list. Hey there, excellent sound design on all the instruments. The chorus definitely hits hard and I like the build up. Very unique chord progression. The balance of elements / relative volume level would need to be a bit tweaked for me to take it, however. The vocals are unfortunately very hard to hear, and while I know they're not the main thing in this genre always, they fall a bit too much into the music for my tastes. The chorus has great drums processing, however, which is a plus. You all clearly know what you're doing, I'd only need a bit more production work personally. But solid work all the same, great musicianship. Best to you!
