Mood: Upbeat and motivational. A workingman's anthem — drives forward, lifts in the chorus, no wallowing. Audience: Working adults, 30s to 50s — people who've started over or are thinking about it. Fans of neo-traditional country with something to say. Release plan: Second single from my debut EP, out November 6. Follows my debut "Once in a Blue Neon Moon" (September). EP release show set for January. Standout details: Three verses, three lives — an office guy staring at a screen, a city girl in a Mercedes stuck on the freeway, a grease-covered garage owner living his dream. Same question to all of them: how much time are you willing to lose? And the kicker: I lived this lyric. Ex-cop, ex-preacher, released my first single at almost 50. The song practices what it preaches.

Thank you for sharing this beautiful track with me. I really appreciate the soulful sound, heartfelt vocals, and the emotion you bring through the music. The song has a warm, captivating feel that makes it enjoyable to listen to, and I’m happy to support it by adding it to my playlist.
Thanks for submitting your track for review, William. Unfortunately, I'm going to have to pass on this one. The musical elements were fine, but the vocals and lyrics didn't connect with me. The song simply is simply not to my taste or a fit for my playlist. Taste in music is, of course, subjective so other playlist curators might be more receptive. Best of luck.
I liked the wide feel the panning gave the track, the arrangement and the steady development. However, though enjoyable, it doesn't quite fit my current selection that leans more towards Indie Folk/Alternative Indie. That said, I'll have to pass for now. Thank you for sharing your art. Wishing you all the best with this release and your musical journey.
Hi! Thanks for sending this tune. I really enjoyed its strong lyrics and dynamic, expressive sound but for my playlists I focus on tracks with a bit darker, bluesy feel. If you have such I'd love to listen and add them. Keep it up!
There’s a beautiful warmth and genuine emotion in this song, and I really appreciate the soulful feel you’ve brought to it. However, the vocal delivery doesn’t quite connect with the mood I’m looking for in my playlist. Keep creating and nurturing that soulful sound, as your artistry deserves to keep growing.
There’s a lovely quality to this song, and I really like the direction you’ve taken with the melody. The vocal delivery has a slightly country-leaning character that doesn’t quite fit the sound I’m curating at the moment. A more neutral phrasing style could help bring the performance closer to the mood I’m after while keeping its warmth and sincerity. You’ve got something nice here, and I hope I get to hear more of your work in the future!
Impressive clarity in the mix of the track! However, the delivery of the vocals wasn't as expressive and dynamic as I would have liked. Sorry but I must decline this submission.
Thanks for your submission. I can appreciate the raw and nicely performed track here. The guitars sound very well played and recorded. Overall the mix is nice and smooth, too. That said, I feel this is too conventional sounding for my playlists. I'm after something more alternative and edgy with both the song writing and production. Thanks and good luck with the release.
Hey William. Hearing a good performance and sound on this track. Hearing a nicely balanced and dynamic mix. However, the style in vocal performance and lyrical flow isn't a style I feel fits my open road playlist that this is closest to. The lyrics are feeling a bit busy and I was looking for a hook. The crowded feel on the lyrics might be the reason why it feels hard to catch a hook. This does lean rock, but the style in performance also does lean significantly on a country leaning feel. There just aren't any rock tracks on my playlist that lean this much towards a country feel. I'll decline for now because of these notes
I enjoyed the moody country atmosphere of your song. The vocals are truly spot-on, and the warm guitar tones create a lovely mellow vibe. However, I found the track a touch predictable, and I'm currently seeking submissions that offer a more distinctive flair. I wish you the best of luck with your music and hope to hear from you again.
Hi, A confident vocal and good sounding groove in this one. Really well-made production. This song is however too upbeat and too bombastic for the slow and mellow guitar vibe I am going for. Wish you all the best with your release! Cheers, Jens

A very welcome submission. The record has a clear identity, and the production gives the performance enough room to make its mark. Thanks for letting me be part of your music journey.
Hey there, thank you for sharing your song with me! I think that the song started of really nicely, well done with the groove that you have created. I think that the electric guitar themes were really interesting. You have a very nice voice in my opinion. I think that the song offered a really cool feel, I've really enjoyed the theme that you have created. For me the acoustic guitar theme aws pretty interesting, you have managed to createa great piano theme, it was really nice also, loved that feel. For me however the song was just not as memorable unfortunately this time, I'm really sorry. The song was a bit too simple for me this time. Good luck with your submission!

Hey William Wyatt, super catchy song and the vibe is perfect for a Road trip playlist. Will definitely be featuring this, much love!
Hi William Wyatt! Thanks for trusting me with your lovely track. The motivating melodies and the storytelling feels so interesting to listen to. While I admire the uplifting feel in the arrangement, I’m sorry to say that I will decline. I noticed the bass were a bit muddy which didn’t meet my standards. I’m looking for a well balanced low end definition in the basslines. Take note that it’s just my preference. Wishing you all the best!
really love how full the sound is on the production end, vocals are totally made for the radio. it's a super clever track really but i just kinda wish the choruses would open up even more as i felt that the lead up from the verses was already dynamically strong
Thanks for sharing the track. Love how straightforward your track sounded for my ears. Also, the production is solid. However, I think the vocals were a bit forward for my taste, which doesn't sit well with my preferences for my playlist. With this being said, I'll have to decline your submission for now. Still, I enjoyed listening to it. Best wishes on this
There’s a warm, easygoing character to this track, and I appreciate the personality in the instrumentation :) The country influence isn’t quite in line with the sound I’m collecting for my playlist right now, so I’ll have to pass on this one. Exploring a different instrumental palette or leaning toward a more contemporary groove could give the song a direction that fits my taste a little better. Keep experimenting with new influences and finding your own musical lane <3
Hey there! I really enjoyed the melodies throughout the track. They create a nice synergy within the mix, and I think the vocal brings an attractive character that fits naturally with the overall style. The song has a pleasant atmosphere, and I appreciate how those elements work together to shape its sound. I do feel the track could benefit from a more distinctive moment that helps define its identity a little further. The melodies are interesting, and the voice plays its part nicely, but I was expecting a stronger contrast somewhere in the arrangement. Something that makes a particular section feel more recognizable and gives the listener a reason to remember that specific moment rather than just the overall vibe. Maybe letting one of the main melodies return with a different harmony, creating a short instrumental break before an important vocal phrase, or changing the intensity around the chorus could bring that extra impact. I don’t think the song needs a completely different direction; sometimes, a few carefully placed details can make the artist’s personality stand out much more clearly. I enjoyed the style, but I decided not to add the track to my playlist this time, mainly because I felt it needed a more identifiable musical moment to leave a stronger impression. It’s a fairly small and subjective detail, but one I think is worth exploring as you continue developing your sound. Good luck with the release, and hopefully we can connect with your music on another occasion!

Hi there! Great track. Really liked the vocals , vibes and energy . The instrumental and the melodies are appealing . However , currently I am looking for a bit more soft and soothing content Alt-J style. Rest ,the track has got some real good potential. Good luck! can't wait to hear more tracks from you.
Vocal tone and very solid production sound as well. But for my playlist and for my taste and ears as well, the chord progression sounds a little bit too foreseeable and repetitive and mainstream. I also miss a vocal melody that sounds a bit more surprising, and in general, I miss some musical elements that sound a bit more unique to my ears. Still, I really like the hook, and I also really like the uplifting vibe in general. Great band play as well and great production sound as well. Still, I miss a bit more modern and surprising musical elements. Still a cool song. I'm fitting my wishes, Dominik.
Hey thanks for the submission. That is a very chill track with a quite melancholic atmosphere. While the vocals were quite smooth, for me personally some of the lines could have also been developed a bit further. Have a nice day! Hendrik
You have a killer voice. I loved the performance. The melodies are beautifully written and the songwriting feels sincere. I enjoyed the emotional clarity throughout the track. The musical direction feels intentional. Personally though, the brightness of the mix was slightly strong for me. That’s just my personal opinion and I completely respect your creative choices. Wishing you the best!
