Drove down the coast, passed an house all covered in ivy. Had to stop, and wrote the lyrics about those that once lived within those walls.

Your track has a beautiful emotional quality to it. The mood feels expressive and thoughtful. The writing feels honest and heartfelt. I really enjoyed the power behind your voice. Personally though, the mix sounded slightly too bright for my listening preference, especially the drum section. I am looking for a little more subtlety in that area. That’s just my personal opinion and I completely respect your creative choices. Wishing you the best!
Hello Echovayn, Thanks for sharing this. I’m drawn to the melancholic vocal delivery and I can feel the heartbreaking emotions in the vocal tone. Unfortunately, I will decline as I noticed the rich Country leaning vocal tone and the digital feel in the drum mix don’t align with what I typically focus on. I prefer a more nonchalant vocal delivery with reverb heavy tone, and an acoustic drum tone with a better balanced depth in the kick and punch in the snare. Best wishes!
Hi there Echovayn. Hearing a very country leaning style on this track. However, this track's arrangement is leaning on a very somber ballad styled mood which isn't really a character/mood present on my sunset rock playlist which this is closest to. The tracks on there are much faster paced and energetic. This relaxed pace and somber ballad mood will stand out too much there so I'll have to pass because of this difference in mood
Hey there , fantastic track . Really appreciate the county vibes , catchy vocals and melodies . However , for my playlist , I lookout for a bit more smooth and dreamy style vocal content , Billie Eilish style . Good luck! I will have to skip this one .
Really nice songwriting here. Solid song structure with effective transitions. I would get more specific and detailed with vocal prompts as this vocal is fairly common. in your DAW isolate the vocal stem and apply a de-esser and adjust reverb. Some spectral artifacts need to be removed. Adjustments to vocal synthesis, stereo imaging, field depth and use of transient shapers can help. A really nice song here in the making!
Hello Echovayn! I will be declining your track because I find the quality of your mix to be a bit muffled and fuzzy right now. It's in the high end of your track. It has this phase like quality that I find a distracting right now. It's a good song though. I love your vocal tone. The twang hits hard. Sorry for declining.
Hey once again Echovayne, I don't know if I've mentioned this previously, but I am looking for classic hard rock as the overall genre. This one here has hard rock influence, but is quite slow, which is also quite moody and not as aggressive or "hard" as I'm looking for. Not only that, but I'm also not into country, even if the vocals are great. But even having said that, the vocals have a ton of reverb and perhaps pitch correction on them, which doesn't feel as raw as I'm looking for. Essentially, I would be looking for unprocessed vocals, no country on the vocals, and a more up-tempo hard rock track in the future, if you are to be a great match with us next time around. I'm not asking you to change your style, but I am asking you to submit a song in the future if you meet that criteria ;)
Hi! Thanks for the submission! I enjoyed the track's heartfelt lyrics and emotional mood but for my playlists I focus on a more traditional blues / americana with a bit grittier / darker tone. Keep it up!
Thanks for haring your track. The track though ai-assisted is realistic as the vocal performance is really well toned. The production is good as well, althorugh in need of more energetic layers. There is an emotional release expressed through the lyrics, and it makes it quiet elegant and sincere. However,as of now the trrack doesnt fir the profile of our playlists as we are more inclined towards:energetic,Club-ready music in the genre's of electronic music. We would love to hear more from you.Wishing you all the best for your future endaevours.Keep it up!!
Hello there and thank you for sharing your song! The production is clean and the instrumental is nice and vibrant. Good work on the strings, they sound crisp and I like those subtle drums at the start. The vocals drop in at 14 seconds which is good for audience retention I believe. The vocals themself are not really my cup of tea though. I personally prefer more natural vocals and I am not a big fan of all those vocal effects on there. All the best, R
Hey there, thanks for you submission. My playlist stands for the opposite of AI, so unfortunately i'm going to decline, i'm sorry!
Thanks for your submission, Ivy. I like the guitar riff in the introduction. It is quite a slow production. Quite intimate in the verses. Nice releaser at 0:45. However, the reason why I am not sharing it is that the vocals feel too aggressive and the drums extremely compressed, which is not what I'm looking for my indie roadtrip playlist. Just my personal opinion.
