This time, I don't feel it works, I'm sorry. I also didn't connect with the overly long duration; I prefer shorter pieces. Thank you very much for sharing your love for music.

Hi John Korbel, It's interesting, there are a ton of things that are going well for this song. I think the production value is top-notch, 10 out of 10. I think the musicality and all the instrumentalists are excellent. Where I think the track sort of falls short in terms of being a good fit for my playlist is the Melody: I just didn't feel hooked by any particular part. Maybe that's because of the jazz influence all around, or maybe it's something else. Whatever the case, I would be looking for a much more memorable and easy to sing melodic hook on a future submission of yours, to be a much better match with us next time around

pitching to playlists where your song sounds like a smooth strong fit is a HUGE part of getting ads... and this is a very particular style of jazz/blues/rock fusion with some 80's R&B ideas. It is valid but not a bit mainstream friendly style so pitch carefully and get better results

I really like the musicality here, but the jazzy elements take up a little too much space for the sound I’m looking for in my playlist. I’d love to hear a bit more of that dusty hip-hop feel with simpler samples and a stronger drum groove. Keep exploring those textures, there’s plenty of room to find a sound that really clicks! :)

Hi! Thanks for your track! The vocals have a very soulful sound! I love how deep and beautiful the piano sounds throughout the entire track - the instrumentation is really rich! However, the vocals aren't entirely clean in some places, which makes the sound a bit harsh. I’m currently looking for a smoother, cleaner sound all the way through.

However your song feels a bit light and uplifting, which doesn't fit well among other deeper/introspective oriented rnb tracks that we usually feature in our 'melodic hip hop & rnb' playlist. And your track is a little warm and chill for us, which doesn't fit much stronger and engaging side of our mainstream festival playlist that we curate. And we usually place dreamy songs with introspective approach in our "electronic rock/indie" one, where your song isn't quite a great match for this time, sorry 🙏
