Catchy soft rock/pop rock song, with a lush major 7th melody resolving to a sus4th chorus. This ice skating love story is a reminiscence about an ice dancer Ballerina.

Hola. Saludos cordiales!
I enjoyed listening to your track; the vocals were quite unique, and I appreciated the warmth of the guitar. However, the overall vibe leans a bit too vintage for my playlist, which tends to feature more contemporary sounds. I truly appreciate you sending it my way, and I wish you the best of luck with your music!
Hey there! thank you very much for sharing your song with us. Appreciate that. Great instrumental performance. Many good ideas. However, first of all the vocal melodies didn't feel engaging enough to us, to be quite honest...and secondly, the track is a little too "jazz-ish" for our rock/folk oriented playlists. Keep on rockin'!
Hi there Citeable Boy. Love the atmosphere on this track. Great balanced mix and sound already. This does have a rock feel and arrangement style, however, the track's mood is just much too relaxed and somber for my sunset rock playlist that is composed of tracks that are much more fast paced and upbeat/energetic, mostly loud. The light instrumentation on this will stand out too much for that playlist so I'll pass for now
the song has a nice gentle mood and well written story but leans a lot more retro than modern and my playlist stay focused on modern. I also do not have a playlist that would work in this genre . And being in playlists where your song matches the genre is not just good for streams but also followers and that is the first step in creating long-time fans. Keep up the interesting work and I am not saying you need to update you approach although you could- just making sure you realize how important accurately targeting your pitches really is.
Hey Citeable Boy, There's no doubt this is a catchy song, you have wonderful vocals and lovely acoustic instrumentation. However, it's precisely the acoustic sound design that is the reason for the decline. What my playlist is about is really hard rock with aggressive guitars, and vocals as well. It's a good song, just not a good playlist fit. On future rock subs, consider sticking to a more electric hard rock sound design overall to be a closer consideration for placement with us next time around For the music -VH
Good day and thank you for sharing your music! A pretty soothing and relaxing tune for sure. The instrumental sounds clean, good work on those subtle and relaxing influences in there. The vocals drop in at 24 seconds, which is pretty logical for a slow paced song like this. I like your natural vocals with not too many effects as well but that slow pace is not my cup of tea. I prefer more energetic singing right from the start, for audience retention. All the best, R
Hey, Citeable Boy, how are you? I just listened to Ballerina. Your vocals have a heartfelt, mature quality, while the drums and harmonies create a catchy sound with a nostalgic feel. However, this aesthetic, combined with the more intense climax around 02:12, moves the track away from the simpler, more contemporary sound we're looking for in our Chill playlist right now. Still, congratulations on the great work! Good luck with your campaign, and don't forget to leave our team a positive rating. Nage, Chill Connections
Hi Citeable Boy, I was quite into the fusion of bossa nova and soft rock arrangements, and your romantic vocals are quite pleasant! I was into the heartfelt songwriting and other elements like the use of synths of this track, however we are searching for more modernistic indie/alt-rock and felt this was more 70s/80s classic rock inspired. Wishing you the very best and I hope this gets more love and support!
Nice sophisticated harmony. I enjoy the bass line being a pedal most of the time. Lovely strings arpeggios. Nice rock groove starting at 1:14. However, the reason why I am passing is that I'm not interested in productions with strings for my indie playlists. Keep in mind this is just my opinion.

I note that at the beginning of the stanza section we can perceive a chord modulation that shifts modes from minor to major, followed by cadence resolutions. We hear instruments that, by their quality, have fidelity. Your voice continues to sing well and your secondary melodies demonstrate creatively well-mastered technique, at a high level. Some string instruments are placed across the panoramas, which creates an immersive environment. Regarding the title, I understand that it is a ballerina discovering what love is like. Fortunately this song fits into one of our playlists, seeing that this musical tempo and the instruments present, played softly, bring a calmness so that the listener becomes relaxed and feels something that comes from good things.

Hi there and thank you for submitting your song! A pretty nice and soothing tune. The instrumental sound clean and in synergy with the vocals. I like the lyrics because they are pretty relatable as well. Clean work on the production and the rhythm as well but the pace of the song is a bit too slow for me. I personally prefer a bit more power and energy right from the start for audience retention. All the best and have a great day, R
Hey there! I think the track has a solid structure and a sound that already does a good job of showing the artist’s direction. The production feels coherent, and there’s enough identity in the overall style to make the song easy to understand from the beginning. After that first impression, though, I felt the main melodic phrase stayed a little too close to the same shape for too long. The track doesn’t really use enough contrast to make the important sections grow or feel more significant. I also think the vocal could take a more central role here, not necessarily by adding more lyrics, but by using the existing phrases with more intention. A change in cadence, a stronger emphasis on certain words, or even bringing one line back in a different melodic form could make the writing feel more concise and much more expressive. It could also help to create small changes around those vocal moments: pull the beat back briefly, change the harmony underneath, or let one transition open more space before the phrase returns. That would allow the same elements to feel progressively more important instead of simply repeating. I didn’t connect enough with the current development to include the track in the playlist this time, but I think the main ideas are worth pushing further. Giving the voice more intention and letting the arrangement evolve around the strongest phrases could make the whole song feel more focused and impactful. Hope we can connect again with another release in the future, and best of luck with the project!
Hey there! We like your warm singing rhythm along with warm instruments. However your song feels a little chill and kinda slow and relaxing for our taste, which doesn't fit quite nice among other slightly faster dreamy songs with a bit introspective tones along that we prefer in our "electronic rock/indie" playlist. And your song is too chill and warm, which doesn't fit much stronger and faster engaging side of our 'rock legends' playlist that we curate to be honest, sorry 🙏
I appreciate you sending this song. The track appears to aim for an emotional atmosphere, but the combination of the vocal delivery, lyrics, and production didn’t quite bring that feeling through for me. I’m going to pass, while wishing you the best with your next release.
Hey there! Nice overall performance here and I think the track was delivered well, but the kick could use a little more presence in the mix to give the rhythm a stronger foundation. Apologies for the decline today, but this is just my personal take. I appreciate the share and have a good one! :)
