Hi! Thanks for sending this lovely tune. I really like your warm, organic sound and the lyrics of the song but for my playlists I focus on a bit darker in theme and mood tracks. I will listen to more songs from you to find one that will fit better to the style and mood that I am looking for. Keep it up!

Hey The Friends Of Norman Havelock, this song has such a perfect sound and vibe for my On The Road playlist and the vocals were a joy to listen to throughout. I'd love to share this, cheers!
I appreciate you sharing your track with me. The overall sound and creativity are impressive, but the delivery could be more expressive to make the song stand out. Keep refining your style because you have good potential, and I look forward to hearing your future releases.
Greetings and thank you for sharing your music with me. The instrumental sounds clean, I like thos strings alongside the piano at the start and the violin dropping in as well, crisp clean. The vocals drop in at 12 seconds which is a good timing for audience retention, I believe. The natural vocals are also something I am looking for for sure but the pace of the song is a bit too slow for me. I really prefer more energetic and uplifting energy right from the start. All the best, R

Hey, friends at The Friends of Norman Havelock! I listened to Hard To Tell, and your country sound feels warm and welcoming. I love how the piano notes and chord groove build throughout the track, while the vocals sound mature and showcase excellent pitch. I'm happy to tell you that as soon as your song is available on Spotify, we'll gladly add it to our huge Acoustic Hearts playlist. Welcome aboard!! <3 Please leave a positive rating on our profile, and keep bringing us more music whenever you'd like! Nage, Chill Connections
the vocals are fantastic - as is the story- and I think that you did a great job on the song structure. But the song does not sound modern- in terms of the instrumentation or the style- and all my playlists skew modern. Unlike most artists you TOTALLY know WHAT you are doing... the SOUNDS LIKE box is perfect and that rarely happens. In fact the biggest reason most songs get returned is they don't fit well on the playlist in question or any that the curator is working on. The Americana outlaws list is the list you are closest to but the song is not quite as on target as i needed to hear to add it.. Interesting name for the project and great vocals but - as I think you will notice if you check out the playlist I mentioned- not the best fit with the rest of the songs.
Hi there, The song stood out to me for the emotive vocals and how the arrangements gracefully build up with the breezy Country arrangements. Although this came close to what I wish to share, it was a bit more roots-focused with the instrumentation, and wasn't quite matching the style of mainstream Country pop that I wish to share. Wishing you the very best and thanks for reaching out!
Hey Friends of Norman Havelock. Love the production sound on this. Nicely clean and dynamic, but still full with a great flowing arrangement. The track is sounding great and does have relaxed and natural acoustic driven sections, but the track still is a bit too energetic and intense in mood, especially with the electric guitars and loud violins. My cozy playlist which this is closest to in sound is just composed of tracks that are more steadily relaxed and less intense. The vocals are also very powerful in sound and intensity which also adds to the track feeling like it will stand out too much on the playlist with more relaxed tracks. I'll decline for now because of the difference in energy
I liked the harmonies, the instrumentation and the overall arrangement. However, I was hoping for the mix to be balanced a bit more as the main vocal track would feel a bit drowned in the mix when the elements come together. That said, I'll have to pass for now. Thank you for sharing your art. All the best.
I appreciate the opportunity to listen to your song. There are several different ideas within the arrangement, but they don’t always feel connected to one central direction. A more consistent approach to the production and song structure could make the final result stronger. Thank you for sharing.

Fair comment! Thanks for listening (and try 'Grave Reservations" - it's darker!)
