Hey there, thank you very much for sharing your music with us! The track has a great foundation for a alt-rock song. Many good ideas here... However, we think the song would benefit from better mixing and mastering. The current mix sounds a little unbalanced and unpolished, which keeps it from reaching its full potential. The vocal doesn't sit well in the mix for example... Keep refining your art, we’re excited to hear more from you in the future! Best of luck!

A HUGE part of getting playlist ads is pitching correctly.. and a big part of that is knowing how to identify your sound. I see you listed Pearl Jam and incubus as sounds likes - but I don't hear that at all. I like what I hear but it a combination of ideas from different styles from further left down the style bar than huge mainstream friendly grunge rock or nu metal. Big picture- that is a good thing. The guitar lead is well played and well located in the song and the strong rhythms were hard not to like. You communicate emotion with your voice nicely and the contrast is nice.. but a more explosive change to the instrumentation in the choruses- I think- could create stronger hooks. You have a lot of good ideas but the song could lean a bit more toward the now than the then and I think that would make it more marketable. Keep up the interesting work. You guys are on to something quite interested.

Hola.

There’s a lovely sense of character in your sound, and I appreciate the style you’re working with! The overall production leans a little too vintage for the direction of my playlist, so I’ll have to pass on this one. A fresher sonic approach while keeping those distinctive musical details could give the track a nice balance of personality and modernity. Keep experimenting, and I hope I get to hear more of your work soon!

Hi there! As much as I enjoyed the guitar arrangement in this track, I find the vocals sounded a tad too thin in the mix which affected how clear you can hear it in the track. So sorry to say, but I will pass for now.

despite having so much going on on here the song remains super cohesive, vocals are super edgy. it's a clever track really but for the most part it's a tad too hard hitting for it to fit into the aesthetics of my playlists, i'm sorry

Hi there guys and thank you for sharing your music! A nice and energetic, vibrant tune for sure. I like the instrumental, the synergy between the drums and strings is great! The vocals drop in at 20 seconds and this is a bit too late for me though. I personally prefer the vocals earlier on, for audience retention. The vocals themself are also a bit hard to understand at some points and this is something I pay a lot of attention to. All the best, R

Bom trabalho!

Hey. Thanks for sharing this track with us. Nice work - there is a lot of character in the vocal and the band sounds super tight. Although we do feature alternative rock in our playlists, I found this song to have a particularly nostalgic feel, reminiscent of the 90s, which would make it difficult to fit stylistically among our curation which would lean into a more contemporary sound. Having said this, I wish you the very best with this release.

Nice grungy indie rock production. I like the repetitive riff played in unison by bass and guitars. Cool guitar solo starting at 2 minutes and 14 seconds. However, I wished there was more variation in the conversation. After a while, the riff feels too heavy. I will pass this time, but I wish you good luck with your release. Of course, this is just my opinion.

Hello The Fairy Wrens, Hugh Middleton, I appreciate the chance to review this track. I’m drawn to the soaring guitar solo and deep basslines. Unfortunately, I will decline because I’m not resonating with the muddy guitars, bass, and recessed drum mix. I’m focusing more on a better balanced depth in the bass and a deeper kick, and reverb drenched guitars that have a balanced mix. Best wishes!

Hi! Thanks for the submission! I really like your expressive, emotional sound and the energy of the track but for my playlists I focus on a more classic blues / blues-rock style with a laid-back, bluesy mood. Keep it up!
