This is a more upbeat Retro-styled Dubstep version of the original. This is a song about losing someone who once made the world feel vivid, and then discovering that memory doesn't quite preserve the emotional reality of what was lost, through an emotional piano composition presented through an electronic/progressive production aesthetic.

Hi, this is an energetic track with a nice harmony. However for my playlists it sounds too commercial. Thanks for the submission and best of luck with the release!
Hi DJ RiccoFX, Color of the Sound (Retro Dubstep) has a cool retro electronic energy that hits with real drive. You built some really nice melodies into the track, and that melodic focus gives the groove an immediate appeal. However, the vocals come across a bit flat and the lyrics feel slightly generic, which pulls back the overall impact for this specific lineup. I need the vocal delivery to carry more distinct presence to fit alongside the other songs on this board. You have some neat melodic ideas happening here, so I hope this finds the right spot with curators seeking that nostalgic dance vibe.
Hey there, thanks for the submission. Your track has good energy and lots of ideas. I thought the changes and the variations kept things constantly moving. The mix is warm, but I thought it was a little over compressed overall - things were too squashed together imo. The vocal gels well into the track, but I wanted more feeling and character in the vocal. It sounded a little robotic to me tbh. Melodically, I thought there were some nice moments, but I wanted a stronger main motif, and overall I didn't hear enough that I found really unique or memorable. So, I'm going to pass on this one I'm afraid.
Hi there! We like voice sync along with the beat and synths. However your track has a bit slow pace, which doesn't fit well among other faster and engaging tracks that we usually feature in our mainstream festival playlists. And your track feels a bit light and uplifting, which doesn't fit much deeper & introspective side of our "deep & melodic electronic" playlist that we curate to be honest. Still it's a well executed track with enjoyable singing rhythm and pleasant chords that can surely find its dedicated listeners with the right type of promotion π
I really enjoy oldschool dubstep, nice basslines and beat but vocals were literally the same as the previous track and this, too, was rather predictable, can't support, unfortunately. Best!
Hey thanks for the submission. I really enjoyed the vocals on this track a lot. Super catchy flow, and smooth tone. While I liked the dreamy, cinematic and also bouncy approach for the instrumental, for me personally the production was still missing more warmth, density and in general a fuller sound. Good luck! Hendrik
Hey, Strong bass in this one. The vocal was too commercial for us though. Also felt the vocal needs de-essing in the harsh high end. We prefer more focus on synths and instrments. Wish you all the best with your release! Cheers, Jens
Same reasoning as with that songβit has an AI vibe. The vocals sound a lot like AI slop. That's not what I'm looking for for our playlists. Sorry.
The track has a lovely intimacy, but it leans more towards a lighter mood and we usually showcase tracks with a darker tone. Best of luck with the release!
Hello! Thanks for sending over your song! Iβd like to start saying that the idea is wonderful. Synths are espectacular, and very powerful in the drops. Vocals are smooth and very well executed. And itβs very varied arrangement-wise! Sadly, I canβt really share due to the fact itβs AI-assisted and itβs just way too noticiable for my liking and audience. Will have to pass, but if you ever have a non-AI assisted song to share, please do consider sending it over! :) best of luck in your release and keep up the good work and pushing the boundaries of whatβs possible with music!
Hi, thank you for sharing your work. Unfortunately I don't place AI assisted songs on my playlists. Therefore I politely decline this one.
Hello DJ RiccoFX thank you for sending this tune to me. The production quality is really good. I enjoyed especially the groove and the kind of downtempo break beat. Unfortunately I fell the vocals and the whole result a nit too pop and commercial for my personal taste and my curation. Just my personal feeling of course. I really wish you all the best with this track. Simone
