this is a unique arrangement of a classic LDS hymn favorite. the arrangement takes it from hymn form to song form verse chorus bridge and it is styled as a folk country ballad

Love at Home is a version very similar to its original by John Hugh McNaughton shared in the LDS hymnal. On this occasion, what I appreciate is its calm and gentle atmosphere that conveys delicacy. But, I don't find any surprise or that more innovative spirit I'm looking for in my selection. That's why I decided to let it pass.

Thank you very much for submitting your music. I enjoyed the general feeling of your song. There were some nice moments. I'm sorry to not share today. The lyrics had some nice feeling to them, however I didn't connect with the main melody enough. Of course it is just my subjective opinion and nothing more than that. Thank you again and all the best.

Hi! Thanks for sending this lovely tune. I really like its warm, soothing sound and the heartfelt lyrics but for my playlists I prefer tracks with a bit grittier / darker tone. I will listen to more stuff from you to fine a song that will be a better match. Keep it up!

Aww, there’s so much heart in this one! I can really feel the love and sincerity behind your performance, and that warmth makes the song special. It leans a little more toward a country-inspired sound than what I’m looking for in my playlist, so I’ll have to pass this time. You’ve done a lovely job capturing that feeling, though, and I hope I get to hear more of your music soon!

Good day Scott Mains and thank you for submitting your music! A very relaxing and soothing tune. The strings sound crisp, good work on the instrumental. The vocals drop in at 16 seconds which is pretty late for me, but then again the song is pretty slow paced. The lyrics are nice and relatable which is good for audience retention! I do personally prefer a bit more power and energy in there though.I also miss a bit more variety in the vocals, in timbre. All the best, R

Nice acoustic guitar introduction followed by violin entering at 0:10 and vocals at 0:17. The reason why I'm going to pass is that the mood is quite romantic which is not a good fit for the playlist I'm creating at the moment. Keep in mind this is just my opinion.

The vibe of the track is def there and you nailed it on the vocal performance, however due to my own musical taste i would've liked for the track to have much bigger dynamics to it

vocals are so very vibe inducing and it complements the hazy summery vibe of the track. it's a personal preference kinda thing but what's holding me back a tad is the lack of a wider range of dynamics, perhaps something with a bigger release

Hey, Scott! How are you? We listened to your track Love At Home, which creates an intimate atmosphere and features an interesting blend of vocals. However, the overall arrangement has a minimalist rhythm that feels more repetitive compared to our chill direction, where we're looking for more elements and variations in the groove. Still, we admire your gentle vibe and soft chords! Don't forget to rate our review as helpful. Nage, Chill Connections

Hola. Saludos cordiales!

Hey, the lyrics definitely have value, and the chorus in particular makes a big impression. But I find the guitar work just not textured enough and it could be slightly more compelling. For now, unfortunately, I will decline. Cheers!

Hola! Saludo
