Fuera is a musical proposal that feels calm and steady. The male voice is authentic and sounds well-formed, conveying sensitivity from start to finish. However, lyrically and atmospherically, I don’t think it works with the other songs I’m promoting on my list, mainly because I found it quite reflective and linear. I miss more brightness and surprising twists that would increase the impact. For that reason, specifically, I sense it’s not the best option at the moment. I’m sorry. Still, I appreciate its carefully crafted sound in every detail and love for music.
Hey there, thank you for sharing your song with me! I think that the tune had a pretty interesting theme, well done with the mood that you have created. I've really enjoyed the drum beat it sounded pretty interesting in my opinion. I think that you have a really nice style, well done with the overall feel that you have created, it was really interesting in my opinion. I think that you have some great themes throughout the song that I've really enjoyed, very well done with the overall mood, but unfortunately the song was just not as engaging for me this time, I'm really sorry. Good luck with your submission!
Timon Maxey delivers a clever musical backdrop on Away, offering an inventive instrumental flow built on solid melodic ideas. The backing production holds a calm charm that catches the ear easily. What prevents the song from landing on this roster is the vocal performance, which did not fully grip my attention as it progressed. The singing feels a bit detached, missing the immediate spark needed to hold its ground alongside the rest of the current rotation. You have a capable sense for arrangement, so trust your direction and continue developing your craft.
Hi there Timon and thank you for sharing your song! A nice and clean tune, I like the bassline in there - crisp clean! The production is clean for sure and I like how you deliver the vocals at 13 seconds. I believe this is good for audience retention. You have a great voice and I like the natural sound but the pace of the song is a bit too slow for me though. I simply prefer a bit more power and energy in there right from the start, also for audience retention. All the best, R
Hi Timon Maxey, The first thing I want to note is that, when the song finished playing, I found that I was singing the melody in my head, relatively effortlessly. You're onto something with either your melody or singing style, so nice job on that end. All around I think your guitar/mandolin playing is quite pretty, and the mix is strong as well, though if I were producing this I might have used Fabfilter Pro's tilt EQ function to bring out some more high end. I also like Kush Audio's clariphonic EQ for clarity. But that's a matter of personal taste. Regarding being a good playlist fit, well I do think this song is on the very slow side for a folk song. Personally I'm looking for a faster overall tempo for folk, pop, or Americana submissions. And I mean much faster. So yeah, love to sound design and singing, but if you have more songs like this in the future, I'd be on the lookout for some of your faster ones, to be a more perfect match next time around. Take care!
Hi, Vocal and guitar work together well. I thought the vocal sounded smooth but I was not a big fan of the vocal melody. Fonud it a bit too dragging. i am also less a fan of the vocalizing in the back. Rather like some more rest points without the vocal pfront. Wish you all the best with your release! Cheers, Jens
Hey, Timon Maxey! I hope you're doing well! I just listened to Away. Your sound has a classic feel, with an elegant chord progression and a simpler approach that complements the calm quality of your vocals. However, when considering our playlists, I felt that the overall sound was a little too linear compared to our chill direction, which, while still relaxed, looks for more elements and rhythmic variations. Still, it was great discovering your work. You're talented! Don't forget to leave a positive rating for our team. Nage, Chill Connections
So, I just listened to your music and we saw that sometimes you will have to decide this on your own, even if the parents would not support it. Only then will things flow. The chords changing modes are one of the examples that occur in the verse section. Your voice shows significant expression, which makes sense in your interpretation. A striking point for me was the harmonized voices, aimed at tuning and precision in the musical timing. We observed that the instruments played during the accompaniment show great continuity, indicating that it is not repetitive. Specifically, I like the relatively fast musical tempo. Although some situations will knock on some people’s doors, I prefer to keep listeners a bit more upbeat on playlists. Therefore, we will maintain the rejection of this song. Good work!

Bom trabalho!

Hey Timon Maxey, great songwriting and an engaging vocal performance. I loved the warmth of the vocal too. This is perfect for my playlist, much love!
Hey. Thanks for sharing this track with us. It certainly has a lot of potential but the vocal did feel a little raw and the mix a touch flat. For this reason, I will have to pass although wishing you the very best with this release.
I appreciate you sharing this release. The melody is easy to follow, but some of its phrases feel familiar without developing a particularly distinctive musical identity. A more unexpected melodic turn or a variation in the chorus could help the song stand apart. I’m passing on this submission, but I hope you continue exploring your own melodic voice.

Hola. ¡Saludos cordiales!
