Cool beat selection in this track as it had a very catchy groove! But I feel that the vocals had a little too much autotune in the mix for my taste. Sorry but I must decline this submission.
Hello there! I quite enjoyed the reggae style bounce in the arrangement. However, I will pass this time as I felt that there was a tad too many effects on the vocals as I am not hearing enough of its natural tone. Sorry!
You and I is a release that does its job well in offering an upbeat, danceable vibe from the start. But, I’m not completely won over by the lyrics, quite predictable and lacking depth. The vocal performance doesn’t seem convincing either, as it feels somewhat lacking in authenticity. I miss more evolution and a more polished sound. So, this time I don’t think it will work with the deeper dynamics and message I’m looking for in a placement.
Hey The DMV Suite, thanks for sending the track!! Idea is solid itself.. Nice sound selection and mixing of elements. The vocal is well processed too! Congrats for that! However due tomy editorial line I am looking for tracks at slightly higher BPMs so I will have topass this time. Hope you can understand and best of luck with promo!
Thanks for your submission. I appreciate the tight, feel-good production. The vocals are smooth and very well performed. That said, I feel this track is a little too mainstream sounding for my taste. I'm after something a little more alternative with both the song writing and production. Just an opinion and taste. Still a very solid tune! Thanks and good luck with the release.
Hi The DMV Suite, the melody of the vocal is catchy and the groove had a catchy tropical feel. Unfortunately though the song's mix quality had a sharp, sibilant, and slightly harsh tone for my personal preference and standards. I'm sorry to turn down your submission.

Hi! Thanks for your track! It has a playful and engaging vibe. I love how playful the vocals sound, as well as the playful drum rhythm. Welcome to my playlist!
Thanks for your submission, The DMV Suite. I like the reggae upstrokes and the break at 0:24. This production blends really well reggae and soul music. However, the reason why I am passing is that I'm not interested in production that has a very explicit and repetitive reggae groove for my Soul Trip. Of course, this is just my opinion.
I really like the melody you’ve built here, and it fits nicely with the laid-back character of reggae. Some of the vocal lines feel a little too slide-heavy and drawn out for my taste, though, which makes the phrasing feel less engaging at times. A slightly tighter delivery could keep that relaxed reggae feel while giving the melody more definition. There’s a nice idea here, and I’d be interested to hear what you create next!
Pleasure is mine giving my thoughts on your song. The song has a really catchy melody, and find myself tapping along the song's beat and guitar track. However, I couldn't add the song because the audio quality feels a little grainy and it doesn't match the atmosphere my playlist has.
This track has this breezy vibe and the drums had such a nice punch that really drives the song's momentum. It's just that the song's pop elements set a different listening experience than what I'm trying to build in my playlist. Sorry for declining.
The melody leaves a strong impression and I like the way the arrangement was laid out. At the same time, the groove and the rhythmic pattern of the guitars pull away from the musical direction of my set, so I'll be leaving this one out for now.
Hello, The DMV Suite! How are you? I just listened to your track Me and You, which has a stylish sound, with reggae-inspired chords and groove. Despite the cheerful vocals and gentle rhythm, I felt the arrangement becomes a bit repetitive, with a more linear drum pattern compared to our vision of chill music with more variation. Still, we respect your art and wish you lots of success on your journey! Don't forget to leave a positive review for our team. Nage, Chill Connections
Hello The DMV Suite, I’m so grateful for allowing me to review this track. Unfortunately, I’ll decline as I’m struggling to enjoy the instrumental mix that lacked depth. I tend to aim for tracks that depth in the bass and drum mix, and I prefer energetic Indie rock leaning arrangements. Best wishes!
Hey, thanks for the submission! A very warm tune and nice vocals, I enjoyed the soulful touch but the song felt way too familiar and polished, wish it was more organic. All the best!
Hey The DMV Suite, While I can absolutely appreciate your artistry and musicality here, I would have avoided submitting a song that had so many genres in it. This song blends, for example, reggae grooves, R&B singing in the verses, and a much clearer pop singing style in the chorus, making it fall somewhere between a few different playlists of mine - ultimately not being a great fit for either one. The final thing that concerns me is that your vocal track has a ton of processing on it, so much so that I'm having a hard time hearing the clean vocals underneath. So while I think this track is actually quite catchy, it's too uneven of a fit on my playlist because of the mixture of genres, and too processed for my liking. On future subs, consider sending me a track with one clear influence - be it pop or R&B, and maybe reggae - while keeping the vocals, clean and minimally processed, to be a better fit with us. Hi! Thanks for sending this lovely song. I definitely enjoyed its soulful, mellow vibe but for my playlist I prefer a more classic funk / soul style with fewer electronic elements. Keep it up!
Thanks for your submission. I like the vocals and lyrics, the main vocal hook is quite catchy which is good. The instrumental is also on point, quite balanced in terms of flow and energy. Overall a good solid song, but it sounds a bit too mainstream for my personal taste.
